Dates & Locations ~ please note the following changes effective 03-22-05

PRELIMINARY AUDITIONS - March 3 to April 7, 2005 (All dates are Thursdays)

RADISSON DULUTH MINNESOTA - ***IMPORTANT: PRE-REGISTERED CONTESTANTS WILL GO FIRST AT THE RADISSON (meaning they will go to the head of the line). Unless you want to stand in line, we recommend you pre-register. To pre-register, see How To Enter.

Preliminary auditions will be held at the Radisson in Duluth, MN on five Thursdays beginning on Thursday, March 3rd and continuing weekly until Thursday, April 7. Contestants may choose the date they prefer to audition on, and entrants who are not selected as semi-finalists may re-audition if they wish (see Policies). All auditions are first come first served between the hours of 3 pm and 9 pm on March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st, and April 7. Those of you who are familiar with the contest will notice that April 7 has been changed from a Semi-Finalist contest at Grandma's to an additional Radisson a cappella audition date ~ due to demand.

Radisson preliminary auditions will be held in the Duluth Room on Superior Street. More than 500 entrants are anticipated. It is advisable to choose an early audition date, in case the contestant is not selected as a semi-finalist and desires to re-audition. IMPORTANT: As soon as the Semi-Finalists are chosen, their names will be posted EXCLUSIVELY here at www.livingwatermusic.com. NOTE: Results will NOT be given at or from the Radisson, not by telephone, fax nor any other means. Entrants who do not see their names posted as semi-finalists have the option to reapply and re-audition on another date. Entrants who reside more than 100 miles from Duluth may submit an unedited videotaped audition by March 15th (see Policies).

SEMI-FINALS - April 14 to May 5, 2005 (All dates are Thursdays)

GRANDMA'S SPORTS GARDEN - The semi-finals will be held at Grandma's Sports Garden in Duluth, MN on five Thursdays, beginning Thursday, April 14th, 2005 to Thursday, May 5th, 2005 from 6pm to 9pm each night. IMPORTANT: As soon as the Semi-Finalists are chosen, their names will be posted EXCLUSIVELY here at www.livingwatermusic.com. NOTE: Results will NOT be given at or from Grandma's Sports Garden, not by telephone, fax nor any other means (see Policies). From an anticipated pool of over 500 entrants, approximately 100 Semi-Finalists will likely be chosen.

FINALE - May 12, 2005 (Thursday)

GRANDMA'S SPORTS GARDEN - The Finale will be held at Grandma's Sports Garden in Duluth, MN on Thursday May 12th from 6pm to 9pm. From 100 Semi-Finalists, 12 Finalists will be selected by professional judges. For the Finale, these 12 Finalists will compete live at Grandma's Sports Garden on Thursday, May 12th for more than $18,000 in music scholarships, CD recording contracts, and other awards. Finalists will be chosen based on Judges' Decision, with Audience Applause being a major component and influence. Tiebreakers are decided by Living Water Music, Inc. Owner and Twin Ports Idol creator Craig LiaBraaten. For details, see Policies. Finalists then compete live head to head for the Grand Prize $5,000 Recording Contract (see Prizes).
