Our First "Twin Ports Idol" will be crowned on Thursday May 12th, 2005 at Grandma's Sports Garden in Duluth Minnesota's Canal Park. "Twin Ports Idol" is the premier singing competition in the Midwest.

• Grand Prize: $5000 CD Demo and "Twin Ports Idol"™ Trophy
  ~ this is the "Grand Prize" for all contestants ages 14 to 26
• Second Prize: $2,000 CD Demo
• Third Prize: 1,000 CD Demo
• Other CD Demos awarded at the discretion of Living Water Music, Inc. owner, Craig LiaBraaten

"Twin Ports Teen Idol"™ 2005

• $2,000 CD Demo and the "Twin Ports Teen Idol"™ Trophy
  for the best teen singer age 14 to 17 who does NOT capture the Grand Prize

Two (2) Premier Awards and Two (2) NEW Awards for younger and older participants

• There are TWO PREMIER TWIN PORTS IDOL AWARDS ~ (1)TWIN PORTS IDOL and (2)TWIN PORTS TEEN IDOL ~ because we have been told that the best talent in the area may be in the adults, and for that reason we do not want teens to miss out on a very prestigious award
• There are TWO NEW AWARDS FOR OUR TWO NEW DIVISIONS ~ (1) CD Demo Award for Ages 13 and under, and (1) CD Demo Award for Ages 27 and up ~ these were recently added due to public interest in expanding the competition to include all ages.

NO results will be available from any other source: Not by telephone, fax, email or through any sponsor, venue or media partner. All contestants must check this website frequently for important changes or updates.

Criteria for Judging

Stage Presence, Star Quality, Talent Level, Attitude, Professionalism, Memory, Vocal Skill & Technique, Personal Hygiene, Charisma, Marketing Potential, Vocal Projection, Communication to the Audience, Stage Etiquette, Courtesy, Politeness, Choice of Songs, Choice of Dress, Microphone Technique, Overall Presentation ~ be sure to keep in mind that Twin Ports Idol is a SINGING competition

Special Assistance

For a fee, Living Water Music, Inc. can assist all entrants who wish to purchase karaoke CDs or record unique & original background music for (1) cover songs, for (2) new arangements, for (3) remixes, for (4) new or original songs provided especially for entrant by Living Water Music, Inc. and/or for (5) original songs written or co-written by the entrant and recorded especially for the contest by Living Water Music, Inc

For a fee, Living Water Music, Inc. can produce a CD or DVD of the contestant's live performance(s). There is a sliding scale depending upon the number of songs the contestant wants on the CD or DVD (see Policies) This service is optional, not required, but offered so that contestants who do not necessarily win a recording award can still obtain a professional recording of their Twin Ports Idol performance(s), a wonderful memento of this prestigious occasion, and a handy way to market your talent or share the moment with your loved ones.
